 | Orientation and Enrolment is the start of MIBT’s academic year for new students. MIBT hosts a series of activities and programs intended to provide students with valuable information and assistance to help them make a successful and efficient transition to tertiary study. During Orientation and Enrolment, new students will: - Obtain their program information
- Receive an Orientation Kit that contains course information and MIBT’s student diary
- Meet many of the MIBT staff
- Be shown a range of services and facilities MIBT offers
- Meet their Student Mentor and make new friends
- Be introduced to the myMIBT student portal, where they will complete their unit selections and create a timetable online
- Tour the campus and library
- Purchase textbooks
- Attend information sessions concerning accommodation, employment, health coverage and computer skills
- Receive a MIBT Student ID card
- Be given the opportunity to participate in planned events such as midday movies, basketball breaks, video gaming, a trivia night and karaoke
