Course Structure

The Diploma of Management is offered in association with Deakin University as an alternative pathway to undergraduate studies and is taught at Deakin University's Melbourne Campus at Burwood. The Diploma consists of Deakin's first year degree units and provides you with a pathway to second year of the Bachelor of Management at Deakin University.

To be awared the Diploma of Management you must complete and pass eight of the units listed in the table below.

Course Duration

The duration of the Diploma of Management is 3 trimesters (12 months). There is the option to fast track the course and complete it in two trimesters (8 months). Courses commence in March, June and October.

Teaching Methods and Assessment

Instruction for all units is classroom based. Four hours of class contact per week are allocated to each unit. Assessment for all units is ongoing and continuous, consisting of tests, assignments and case study analysis. Most units have a final three hour examination.
