"After completing VCE and finishing the first year of a photography course, I was feeling confused about my career path. Photography was a great hobby but not something I wanted to make a career out of. I'd always had an interest in computers and after researching courses, I discovered MIBT. Many other colleges offered a certificate or diploma alone, but MIBT allowed me to achieve this and then transfer into an industry standard degree at one of Melbourne's top universities.

MIBT was a great stepping stone between secondary school and university. The staff and teachers at MIBT allowed me the freedom and responsibility associated with university life, while still ensuring that I was keeping up with the curriculum. Teachers always went out of their way to make sure we understood the work, some even went as far as organising weekend study sessions in their own time. My success at MIBT and Deakin has led me to open my own business."
