Your Pathway to Deakin University

MIBT offers a wide range of Pre-University, Undergraduate and Postgraduate level programs. Programs are designed in consultation with Deakin University and moderated by the University.

Pre-University

MIBT's Pre-University program is designed to assist students to reach upper secondary school (Year 12) and university foundation levels.

• Certificate IV in University Foundation Studies

Undergraduate

MIBT Diploma programs are equivalent to Deakin University's first year bachelor degree. Upon successful completion of the MIBT Diploma program, you are eligible for entry into the second year of the relevant Deakin University degree program*. A full year’s credit is also available at many other universities around Australia.

• Diploma of Media and Communication
• Diploma of Health Sciences
• Diploma of Science

*Entry into second year university is dependent on students successfully completing the MIBT Diploma and meeting University academic criteria.

Postgraduate

The Deakin University Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) is designed to be a bridging program for international students whose undergraduate qualifications do not meet the academic and/or English requirements for entry into relevant Masters programs at Deakin University.
