2010 Tuition Fees
Need Help to pay your fees? FEE-HELP - Australian Government Loan Scheme MIBT as a recognised Higher Education Provider (HEP) allows eligible students the opportunity to access the FEE-HELP loan scheme. This is a scheme for Australian citizens who can borrow all or part of their tuition fees up to a lifetime limit of A$83,313 (2009). A student can elect to pay a portion of fees directly to MIBT, and the remaining debt will be registered as a loan through the Australian Taxation Office. The $83,313 FEE-HELP limit is indexed annually (as measured by the CPI index). A loan fee of 20% applies to FEE-HELP loans. Indexation and the loan fee do not count towards your FEE-HELP limit. The Government pays the amount of the loan directly to the student's higher education provider. Students who are eligible for FEE-HELP will recieve a "Request for FEE-HELP assistance" form which will be provided with their Letter of Offer. To guarantee their place at MIBT, students will need to complete and return this form to MIBT prior to trimester commencement. Note: FEE-HELP is only available for Diploma Programs. Students will incur a FEE-HELP debt immediately after the census date for each unit of study for which they have received FEE-HELP assistance.
