In order to transfer from an MIBT Diploma to 2nd year of the relevant Deakin University Bachelor degree students must meet the Transfer Guidelines below.
Upon successful completion of a Diploma, that is, having passed eight units, all students are eligible for entry to a FULL-FEE paying place in second year of the relevant Deakin University undergraduate degree, provided they have met the academic progression criteria below.
* Does not apply for the Bachelor of Laws. The following criteria applies:

MIBT holds "Transferring to Deakin University" information sessions towards the end of each trimester for students who will be completing their MIBT Diploma. Students must attend these sessions to obtain transfer procedures.
Successful completion (at first attempt) of the PQP at the prescribed level below allows you to meet the University's requirements for entry into first year of the specified postgraduate coursework programs at Deakin University.
In order to be eligible for admission into a Faculty of Business and Law masters degree, PQP students must have successfully completed all 4 PQP units by achieving a minimum of a credit grade (60%) for each unit.
In order to be eligible for admission into the MBA (International) and associated combined degree programs, PQP students must have successfully completed all 4 PQP units with an average mark of 65% and a minimum of a credit grade (60%) in each of the discipline based units.
* Entry to the Master of International Business and associated combined courses will also require a business related discipline completed at post-secondary level.
Information Sessions about transferring procedures will be held at the end of each trimester.
MIBT Diplomas are a pathway into second year of the relevant Deakin University Bachelor degree. To enter second year students must meet the Transfer Guidelines below.
Students who successfully complete their Diploma course at MIBT in 2013, that is, having completed and passed eight units, will be eligible to apply for a CSP in second year of the relevant Deakin University undergraduate degree in March 2014.

MIBT students who complete their MIBT course within the normal timeframe for completion (based on full time enrolment) are considered for entry to Deakin courses on the basis of the conditions which applied at the time they commenced the MIBT course.
MIBT students who complete their MIBT course in a timeframe beyond the normal completion period (based on full time enrolment) are considered for entry to Deakin courses on the basis of the conditions that are in place at the time they apply for entry to Deakin.
